Hi
Been while reading, replyin as when can.
anyway well guess il say as postive as one can do..
Things rather pearshaped(Not so good).

Started naproxen 15th march, was to be when needed but im straight into 2 daily, and not much use.
so well RA for me when on Mtx Was milder.
so well i take back what said mtx wasnt working casue i must been,2 months now since stopped mtx to try for family this winter.

had depo injection full dose 12th march, since then tooth abscess gping dental hospital tomorrow complex case aprently as now diagnsoed systemic lupus along with RA,fibromyaliga.

I also take Planequil for both RA and lupus, plus amitryilpine,co codamol, omprezole, etc etc.
so had to submit let church friends help me move about via car home today tunrs out man and wife a doctor and wife a phsyio, anyhow the friend who gp speiclsiing in LUPUS and RA.
took 1 look at me said need get me home to rest my butterlfy rash had come up big time while at meeting,i felt giddy to point almost fell down.
so sat whole time.

basically ive held off asking more steriods as tooth infection wil be for me alot harder heal and this makes things flare for me.
so my plan is get tooth treated then call rheumy nurse for immediate action.
no way im giving in to go back onto mtx as age and gynae isues against me to do that.

so sorry havnt really said, but well like not to talk about things when i actaully really could do wee bit support.
silly melly ended up tears today, not depressed just sad over family issues of late, came home slept and dusted me self off for dental appointment tomorrow.

back scalp got red lesions lupus,so far no hair loss better stay that way to.small one above eye,by lesions i mean lupus skin realted pacthes red, scaly skin sore using e45..
Think plnaequil is helping a bit as no more episdoes of uticaria on face, thats a rash under eyes with blisters,in fish net style pattern with faintness planequil seems keeping that at bay yippee for that.

take care thks reading.

Hello Melly, I'm so sorry that you are having such a rough time at the moment, it's not really surpprising because of everything you have to put up with, maybe getting your tooth sorted will improve things a little, at least it is something that can be put right for you.I'm taking Naproxen, Tramadol and paracetamol, I think that I remember that you can't take Tramadol but have you tried paracetamol with the Naproxen, I was told that taking the two together can be benificial, you could just give it a try. Imagine getting pregnant Melly, it will be great, you could go into remission then. Fingers crossed. Try to rest up as much as you can for now. Take care. Glenys. x

Hi Mel ,so sorry for you having a horrible time at the moment , i fully understand as i was very ill when coming off the drugs to try and ttc , take plenty of pain relief , and i use hydrocortisone on the horrible red mark you get with the Lupus, it works well after a few days , you must be getting stressed out if you have the rash on your face , try to take it easier , thinking of you and do hope you get some relief soon

Oh poor you!

Praying the appoinment goes very well and it all gets mended so you can call for immediate action. You do need some help but of course you don't want to resort to the mtx. I wonder whether a new pain killer will help....

How is the Amit. going?

love,

Amanda

Sad ThumbDown to appointment
utter waste time SO FAR

Seen by dental consultant, looked at tooth yes infected abcess will need root canal, doesnt agree he should treat me sees no reason why my own dentist carnt do so.
he will be however speaking with his colleague in endontics tomorrow as wasnt in today!
if he agress to see me then be treated by him if not refer me back to own dentist what a disater. so so upset by it all.
no good giving me anti biotic tablest tooth needs be drilled down all infection cleaned out under anstehtic with anti biotcis by injection form.

so please pray endontics conusltant will treat it,says may loose tooth.
he agreed to send inforamtion to myd entist on how to care for my teeth said been doing it wrong should give tablet form anti bioctcis but imediate drill remove bateria inside tooth and inject anti biotics grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

he doesnt feel the endontics conusltant will treat me,says prob not sick enough.

so anyway back to RA.

knees still an issue, naproxen is helpign stiffness in monrings with hands but not knees.
i already take paretcmol in co codamol so not allowed any more producst with it in.
so praying et call tomorrow or letter by weekend as to whther be treated at hospiatl for tooth or if not an imediate appointment at dentist.

stress hasnt helped but was unavoidable.
terms of family issue, deathes in family.
so thats how it didnt go today.

oh amanda, amtirypline going fine thankyou still sleeping well, wake only onc in night, uscle pain alot less mind you thats because ive done very little housework, gardening all on hold till infection healed taking care me.
thanks re tip hydrocortsone cream i think i will be asking see a dermy consultsant if gets worse.
bascially it still bit soon for planequil to have kicked in for lupus side things, and im battling the infection which gp said and conusltant also that its affecting my immunity all gone bit heywire.

anyway with knees they are hot,get red swelling, they give way, sore around sides joints,im elevating them using bit arnica oil, stronger pain relief.
at what level do the rheumys actaully aspirate them, not had them xrayed yet. been an issue since august last year.
balls feet swollen.

sorry but long.post.

Dear Melly,

Sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time, and feeling low. I am not surprised to hear this, as you have had to contend with a lot recently. Keeping my fingers crossed and sending out positive vibes that you receive the dental treatment to sort out your painful toothache.

Sending gentle cyber hugs,

love,

Barbara

Melly

You poor thing. I am so sorry you are having such a rough time. Toothache is the worst. It is a pain you cannot get away from. Sounds silly but a pain in the leg or arm seems a lot easier to deal with than toothache. Hope this is sorted out very soon for you ........... silly dentitsts.

Keep focusing on your goal for the end of the year.

Lot of love and hugs

Jackie

Hope someone gets in touch with you today and able to sort this out. Have you spoken with rheumy nurse -
again knock on effects etc - you need to be treated holistically - its all connected in one way or another to immune system
Hope today brings some ansewers and less pain for you,

Take care love Liz xxxxx

Oh Melly, what a horrible mess for you. Why is it the health service makes it so difficult for us when we can least cope with it? ThumbDown

I had a particularly gruesome tooth abscess a while ago which had badly affected my whole health. I lost the tooth, but it sorted out lots of other health problems, so lets hope when it is FINALLY sorted you will feel better and able to look forward to planning your baby.

just spoken within lupus moderator said not uncommon when a medic whos not familar with lupus comes across my kind situ that they may panic and need reasurrance to treat us.

meantime im keeping mouth extra clean, resting and erupting in more rashes.
